I didn't know I could have full day off work on my bday till 1-2 days before, when my boss said go apply your e-leave. So it's like surprise and yay!
So my bday was spent at ttsh in the morning accompanying H to see specialist because he injured his knee from wake-boarding (long story).
I was hoping to catch movie since I'm free from work and tuitions but H was limping quite badly so we went back to bukit panjang. We had some simple lunch and headed home.
He kept saying "don't eat too full la" and "are you very full now?", which was weird.
And the reason for that was because he made me an Oreo birthday cake! Hahahaha
He actually booked dinner at Altitude but we cancelled the booking because I'm kinda lazy to doll up and hoping for a simple cafe meal :) Hence, we headed to Food for Thoughts @ Botanic Garden. Because we could eat and walk walk :)
The food was so-so. Although it's like 2 sides and 1 main, all three tasted good individually only, meaning they didn't blend together haha.

So after dinner we went for a short walk because of H's knee. I always think that our BG is getting prettier and prettier each time I came.
I still prefer mango ice though hahaha.
Received quite a number of wishes from FB and personal msg. So appreciative for all the well wishes :D I wish my 25th year will be smooth and full of opportunities:)

I think 2014 had been a great year for me. Very grateful and happy for all the events and people around me :)
Career:
I found my ideal job within 2 weeks after receiving my final sem results which matches exactly to my expectations (except for the pay haha).
Travel:
I finally stepped out of Asia ;) and went to 5 cities of Australia - Adelaide, Melbourne, Tasmania, Sydney and Gold Coast. Furthermore, it's a 3-week backpack + road trip! It's an adventure and rediscovery of myself/us. And I'm certain there're more to come. We also went to another beautiful place called Bandung; finally saw volcano crater and turquoise lake and indulged in local indo cuisine daily!
Personal growth:
Through my job, I constantly unlocked my achievements, pushing myself beyond my limits and realizing how far and limitless I can go. After working for 10 months, my convocation was finally here. It reminded me about how I survived through deadlines, exams, maintaining GPA while working 10-12 hours/day (hostel + tuitions) for 5-6 days a week. Those 3 years trained me well and most importantly it left me study-loan free! I'm also satisfied with my results (only As and Bs in transcripts HOHO).
Since I checked 'my ideal job' off my list, it's time for new goals. Hence, I'm so so so glad that I managed to switch industry in 2015. This new job just fell into place at the right time; fulfilled my salary and benefits expectations; leaving me to no reason to reject it. I'm quite excited and nervous actually for what is coming.
So well well well. 2015 seems to be another promising year! Feeling so positive about it HAHA. At the meantime, I realised it's the month of January now. OH NO IM NOT PREPARED TO TURN 25 YET!
Lastly, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
